Medieval English Hymn: [Th]e Milde Lomb Isprad o Rode (The Gentle Lamb Spread on the Cross)

This is a beautiful English hymn from the 13th Century. Isn’t it amazing how the English language has changed over the centuries?

With the propagation of textspeak, I wonder what English will sound like in another 200 years.
