All Souls Day Missa Cantata in the Dominican Rite at St Catherine of Siena Church, NY, NY

There will be a Missa Cantata in the Dominican Rite on All Souls Day, Friday, November 2, 2012, 7 PM, at St Catherine of Siena.

Fun fact about the Dominican Rite: The Dominican rite was approved in 1267. Even though after Vatican II, the Dominican order chose to celebrate the newer Roman Rite, there seems to be more and more interest in celebrating this rite from the middle ages. This Mass will be celebrated according to the 1962 issue of the Dominican Rite (that means Latin)!

Let’s support this renewed interest by attending this mass!
